I own a lot of palettes,and I don't really "need" any new shadows. However, when I saw this come out from Marc Jacobs I knew that it had to be mine. Before you are turned off by the price, I honestly believe you could wear this every single day and not get bored.
There is a nice mixture of matte shades, with shimmer shades that are wearable. I love that you can use this palette to take your look from day to night. You can use it for special occasions or a holiday party. The shadows pack pigmented without primer or being wet. You will find yourself reaching for these colors over and over again!

The look:
I started out with the lightest brown shade (featured top row) and started my crease. I then moved to the darker brown (featured bottom row), to smoke out my lid. I took it all over my entire lid and up into the crease. I then took the beautiful smokey purple shadow and placed it on my lid taking a large fluffy brush to blend into the crease to avoid any harsh lines. I went between the matte white and the white with a shimmer to highlight my brow bone and inner corner.
What is your favorite Marc Jacobs product? I don't know how to narrow it down, I love everything I own!

DeleteI think that the price tag is high on this, but when you consider how much his normal palettes cost which only have 6 shades (I can't remember the exact number) this is a bargain! It's a gorgeous palette and it's also packaged in a beautiful case. Leave it to Marc Jacobs to wow us again! Love this look on you!
