This is 2 coats of each polish, without top coats or base coats!

These are so much fun, you can apply a clear top coat to the tips and it gives a nice little finish.  These are 3 of the polishes that I picked to review from the Silk and Satin Collection. 

I am a fan of color, bright colors to be exact so these soft and subtle shades were a little different for me. I do however love that they can be color shifters by adding a top coat, even if you do it only on the tips or along the nail bed it completely changes the look.

I have not had any issues with these being sheer, or not applying. I read a few reviews that people said they couldn't get the color to show up, it was too sheer. I don't fuss with my nails too much so I would let you know if these caused me any issue with application. 

Some of you were not into the textured polishes I posted a few days ago, so do you like these Satin and Silk polishes?

 Pixi Oh So Orange -$8 here at Pixi.com or Target

This is the perfect Orange nail polish shade, the photos you see above are with only 2 coats. I got this last week and I love how long it lasts. It does not chip off, it just wears away like at the ends of your nails. So you don't have just big pieces missing off your nail (chipped polish) it has a gradual wear.

I also want to add that my nails are not great, that is why I did not take photos of it on my nails. I thought a nice natural base for a swatch would show you the beautiful shade. I am no nail blogger, but I was just happy to share this shade with you and wanted to get this post up for everyone to see. I think that if you have a nice tan this color will just pop and look amazing for you. I however, avoid the sun and haven't seen a tan since the baby oil days of the 80's but I still love the way it looks on me!

There are so many other great shades that when I went to their website to link to this polish, I had to stop myself from buying them all. Seriously go look at the Baby Girl and Makeup Artist Mauve to name a few.
