This is something that I have used for years on a personal level, and when I started building my kit I knew I had to have it. There are a lot of Glowing/highlight products that are sold by many different companies, and I have most of them in my kit. This product has many uses and that is why it works well for makeup artists. Not only can you use it to give the skin a glow,and as a highlighter but it works great to think out thicker foundations. 

When I have younger clients, or clients that do not need a lot of coverage I mix it with some foundation and make my own Tinted Moisturizer. It does not make the skin look greasy it really is a nice product.

The price is a little much, they do offer a 1oz product if you are looking to try it for $15.

This product is amazing,and I am so glad that I picked it up. If you love the scent of bananas then you will love this shampoo and conditioner. I got lucky and picked these 2 up when The Body Shop was having the buy 2 get 2 sale. If I would have known that I would be in love with these 2 products I would have picked up a lot more. It helps make my hair soft and shiny, there are no tangles left which is amazing.

Not only does this product work great, but you can buy this with a peace of mind. It is Cruelty free,and Fair Trade because the creator of The Body Shop Anita Roddick was one of the first to promote Fair Trade with other countries. I will continue to pick up these items,and many more products because I love what they stand for!

I know the price is a little much, but it is worth every last cent. So expect to see lots more from The Body Shop on my blog.

ION Miracle Leave in Conditioner found at Sally's Beauty Supply

It's  A 10 Miracle Leave In Product found wherever Salon products are sold!

I have been using these 3 leave in products for several months now and wanted to do a review of each of them. It's more of a review and comparison between all three of them.

First we can compare prices 

Ion Moisture Solutions without any discount is $7.99 for 8oz at Sally Beauty Supply

Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Tri Wheat Leave in Conditioner is $16.95 for 8.5oz at Ulta.com

It's a 10 Miracle Leave in Conditioner is $17.99 for 4oz at your local Target

You can see above the consistency of the products, except for the Soy Tri Wheat conditioner it looks like water so I didn't take a picture of that. It's a 10 is a very thick and creamy product I couldn't get any out of the bottle to even take a photo. The Ion Moisture Solution is also a thick creamy consistency but not nearly as thick as the It's a 10.

My top pick is.....

Ion Moisture Solution, it has all the same claims that it's a 10 does. It works great that bottle is actually empty I had to scrape from the bottom to get any out to photograph. With my pro discount at Sally I payed less than 6 for the product. I would easily pay the $8 for it. I love this product, if you are looking for a great leave in product, try this one!

Now all 3 of these companies are cruelty free,Ion is even a Vegan product. I think the It's a 10 is a good product and it works great and everything it promises it does deliver. I got mine with my Ulta Rewards points, and will probably do the same next time heh. The Soy Tri Wheat leave in conditioner is a different formula all together. It is a mist and works good enough for me, but I have tangled hair. I dye my hair and need lots of moisture from my leave in and I think this product is better for people without so much damage. They all smell great, and there isn't anything wrong or bad about any of them either. I just wanted to share with you my love for the cheaper Ion product!

Urban Decay Smoked Palette $49 at Sephora.com

These are the 6 colors that make the palette. Every shadow in the palette is amazing but the ones not swatched are simple matte shades that can be found elsewhere. These are the 6 stand out shadows this is one swipe no base. This palette also includes 1 full size 24/7 glide on pencil in Perversion, and a travel size primer potion. The glide on pencil in Perversion in my opinion is not that great. It must be a different formula because it smudges,and causes my eyes to water.

I love this little bag, it's been very nice for nights out. I can put my phone and some makeup and my wallet even fits. I love Mint and Coral for the spring and when I saw this bag I could not pass it up. I know this is not beauty related but I thought for those of you who love the look of Chanel without the price tag you might wanna run out and pick this up.

I bought mine online and it seems to be sold out already, but I saw it in my store also. What do you think for the price it's a pretty good dupe heh. I am not a fan of replicas or knock offs, but this is what it is an affordable mint bag nothing more.

Heavy handed swatch so you can see the beauty of this shade!

In the pan it looks like another pink blush, but it is a great shade for summer and fall. You can go a little heavier and get this deep rich desert rose shade. You can go light with it and its a beautiful soft coral pink. If you cannot tell it has been loved and is being hauled around in my kit. I just recently added this shade to my collection of Nars blushes. I have used it a lot and not even noticing any product going away, which is great.

I have said it before, but Nars blushes are worth the price. They truly last forever and the pigmentation is always there for me.

Little fibers that adhere to your lashes

I did not know what to expect with this product, I had first assumed it was going to be a powder. I was pleasantly surprised that it is a completely unique product. It is very fiberous and sticks to the mascara wand that is provided and I have not had any issues with it falling into my eye.

I have used this on many occasions with several different mascaras from high end to drugstore. It works amazing with any kind of mascara, and its very easy to build up. I love the spider lash look so I kept applying it and another layer of mascara. No need for fake lashes with this product. It's simple

just apply a layer of mascara and while it's wet apply this lash powder. Then apply another layer of mascara and you get the idea. It gives great volume with one coat. Here is a photo of me using E.L.F. $1 Mascara with this lash powder just 1 coat. Please excuse the smudgy eye makeup I had taken off the makeup I was wearing to be able to do this fresh for the photo.

This is the Theodora palette which is based on the bad witch from the upcoming movie Oz the Great and Powerful .In the movie Theodora will be played by Mila Kunis, and might be reason enough to pick up this palette for me :)

This palette is Glinda the Good Witch's palette. Each palette comes with 6 new shadow shades and a duo shadow. They come with a full size liner and a super saturated lip pencil all for $49 and will be released on the 25th.

I don't know from the pictures how excited I am about these palettes. I was expecting a green,maybe a deep red, something fun and different. I will want to see them myself when they come out.

How it looks in the hair!

I received this item a few weeks back and I have not only used it on myself but on a client. One night I went out and did a mermaid hair effect with the Ultra Violet and Electric Blue! I have been able to use it in my brows a few times, and it is just too easy and fun not to do. I cannot wait until I get to do some fun photo shoots this Spring and I get to use it on my clients.

About the product:

An instant,intense wipe on/wash out hair color or use it on your brows to match your new hair shade.

The greatest thing about this product is that it does not transfer. You simply spray it with hairspray and it seals it in and it doesn't rub off. I set my eyebrows with brow gel and never noticed any caking or rubbing off. I also used an angled brush to apply my brow color, but you could use a mascara spooly if you so wish.

To apply onto my hair I used a wet makeup sponge and sandwiched only my ends between the sponge and the color of my choice. I followed the instructions they gave me and it worked perfectly. I also want to mention that I had recently colored my hair and didn't have any trouble with staining. These colors are so pigmented you will not believe!
