Studio Gear Cosmetics CC Cream Review

Hydrating CC Cream transforms and enhances your complexion in an incredibly light, smooth formula. This foundation simultaneously fights aging, retains moisture, and covers and treats blemishes with a non-oily, perfectly radiant finish.
Key Benefits:
  • Protects:  SPF 20 protects the skin, while Hydra-Extend technology provides moisture for up to 72 hours.
  • Perfects:  Enjoy natural looking coverage while micro-encapsulated pigments perfects and fade dark spots and acne scarring.
  • Corrects:  Anti-aging and collagen building ingredients help minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
  • Hydrates:  Hydra-Extend technology provides up to 72 hours of continuous hydration.
  • Conceals:  Micro encapsulated pigments deliver a fresh dose of color that adapts to your own skin tone, creating the most natural looking coverage.
  • Smoothes:  Skin nourishing ingredients help to correct and maintain youthful complexion.

I truly enjoy that it has a SPF in it, so I do not have to apply anything additional if I do not want too. It did provide great moisture to my skin, although the shade was too dark for me I was able to wear it around the house to get an idea of how it would work for me. It went on nicely without caking, and it did have a light-medium coverage. I am not a light-medium coverage girl because of skin issues I feel more comfortable with medium to full. I do think this worked nicely however, and I can imagine that if you had fairly good skin it would be enough coverage. I also enjoy that it has anti aging products in it to maintain a youthful complexion, getting closer to 21 everyday :)

My only real complaint is that it says it will adapt to be your perfect shade. You can see the shade it was on my hand, and it was just a bit too dark for me. I am usually the lightest shade in everything, but if I dare to step out of my dungeon and see the light this will be a perfect match. As a makeup artist, it is frustrating that if I was to fall in love with this product the shade range is only 3 colors. I would want to be able to use this on all of my clients, and with 3 light shades it won't happen. Hopefully they are working on expanding their shade range.

  1. Gee, you must have extremely fair skin, Heather. Bummer. I initially was sent Natural, and it was too dark for me. But Linen really does adjust perfect to my light/fair skin. Like you, I wish it provided medium/full coverage. It's great for everyday for me.
