I was so happy when I was given to opportunity to share another post about U by Kotex with you. Although my last story was an embarrassing one, it gave everyone a good laugh. I want to talk to you this time about feeling more confident, especially during that "time of the month".

I haven't always been the girlie girl that I am now. I use to play sports of all kinds, playing basketball and volleyball at the same time. I also went through a phase of being a skateboarder. I was actually pretty good, until an encounter with a car made me second guess my Tony Hawk career track. The hardest part of being athletic was being concerned about getting my monthly visitor. Especially, if you have ever played volleyball those shorts were and still are outrageously short hehe.When I would meet to go skateboarding I was the only girl to show up. When you are are the only girl in a group of boys, you don't want aunt flow to show up and embarrass you.

I truly wish that U by Kotex was around when I played sports. I know that I could have played confidently without worry of leakage. I could have not cancelled or sat out games because I was really worried about having a America's Funniest Videos moment. Although I am much older now, and my pro career is far out of reach, I still like knowing that I don't have to give my period a second thought. I can feel confident in what I am wearing, what activity I may be partaking in and it doesn't matter if I am the only girl around or not.

It is hard to be confident when you are in misery from your period anyways. So being able to take that worry away has been great. Plus these come in such cute packaging you really can discreetly hide them in your makeup bag, overnight bag or backpack.
