Matte Brow pencil in Blonde & Taupe $21 at Sephora.com
Gloss Stick Brow pencil in Blonde,Taupe & Brunette $21 at Sephora.com
If you are a regular to my blog or YouTube you already know that my brows are blonde. So without filling them in they are transparent, so I always have to fill them in. I love trying new products, I go between pomades,to powder and now I am on a pencil kick.
These Smashbox pencils glide on smooth, are easy to feather out and do a fine point.I haven't used the Bronze Shimmer stick on myself, because they are so light. I think it would look great on someone with natural darker brows. The matte pencils are amazing and the matte taupe is darker than the gloss taupe so it works great for my hair color now. When I eventually add blonde to my hair I will love the blonde pencil.
I love the matte pencils, but for some reason I have been drawn to the Gloss Stick.

I used brunette in the photo above and it's the same picture from my
Blue Smokey eye tutorial. It really molds to my brows, and I didn't have
to set them. It isn't a sticky, gloss finish either which was my
initial fear with something called gloss going on my brows.
It
is more of a tacky feeling, which holds the brows in place and helps
shape them. It sets in the actual hair, so it doesn't come off on if you
touch them. They were still looking "on fleek" hours after applying. I adore Smashbox, and these products are just as amazing as I knew they would be. If you are in the market for a new brow product try, pick one of these up!
Have you tried the Smashbox Brow Tech pencils?

ReplyDeleteI literally have 2 brow products that I use. I really need more of a variety.
ReplyDeleteThe Taupe shade has a warmer hue to it then what I would expect from a Taupe...w hich I think is quite nice because I love warmer brows. I hate when so many brow products have a cool tone to them, they make my brows look weird.
ReplyDeleteI love Smashbox brow products! The gloss sticks seemed odd to me at first, but I love that they hold brows so well.
