My Spring Hair Routine Overhaul with Madam CJ Walker

The four products that I have incorporated into my Spring Routine are

I thought it was going to be easy to tell you how much I love these two products however, only one word really comes to mind, amazing! If you have visited my blog before, or YouTube then you know I was a hair dye addict. I have more bleach on my hair and scalp than I would ever like to admit. Let's just say that over the past 2 years I have totally ruined my hair, and thanks to Madam C.J. Walker hair care my locks never looked better.
I am guilty of sleeping in both of these products, and allowing my hair to absorb as much as it can. All the bleaching I have done stripped away my hairs protein, and left it lack luster and thin. I will apply the protein treatment onto my hair starting in the middle and working my way down to the ends. I then wrap a warm towel around my hair, and fall asleep with it. The next morning I just rinse it out, and style as usual I am telling you now it has been amazing!
The masque is probably the best invention since bread, or ice cream
(imagine your favorite thing). I can use the smallest amount, and you
can probably see in the photo how thick this product is. I just work it
through my hair from scalp to the ends and rinse. I can allow my hair to
air dry, and it is soft and manageable. That leads to my next products
that I have been testing out.
The frizz fighting flyaway control serum and the curl refresher have helped my naturally wavy hair look fantastic. I don't have beautiful waves, or long flowing locks of curls. I have frizzy, wavy hair that shows every sign of damage if not treated properly. I usually spend my time straightening and then recurling it or just straightening it from the start.
However, now that my hair is so much healthier it has a little bounce to it. The waves are more defined, and with these products they are not frizzy. The refresher mist not only helps liven up my curls but makes my hair smell so delicious.
This is a current picture of my hair that I had posted, and got lots of compliments. I am no Victoria Secret model but if you watch the video I am posting below you can see how far my hair has came in just 7 months. I haven't dyed it at all in 8 months ,it has just gotten lighter as the old colors faded out.

Your hair is looking soft, bouncy and healthy. YAY!! I do love that pic of you! I have the masque and coconut spray too. I never thought to use the masque over night but I will give it a try!
ReplyDeleteYour hair looks incredible!!! I have seen that masque a couple of times on other reviews and every single one of the reviews gave it great the highest rating possible! Since I color my hair and use styling tools a lot, I think this is something I should seriously consider using in my routine!!
