Leu Gardens in Orlando, FL

Living in Florida during this pandemic has been very different for me than the accounts I hear from people in other states. I haven't been into a store to shop for pleasure (Ulta,Sephora,TJ Maxx) since March. I pick up most of my groceries curbside, or have them delivered. We celebrated momentous occasions in Quarantine a lone without friends and family. Luckily, the weather is beautiful in Florida even when it rains. Leu Gardens has been a great escape for me and my husband and even our friends.

If you aren't familiar with Leu Gardens it is a 50-acre botanical oasis minutes from Downtown Orlando. You could go several times a week, and see different flowers and plants each time there is so much to soak up. We have gone several times this year so the flowers are bloomed at different times, but even on this dreary rainy day it was exactly what we needed.

There is a nice mixture of wildlife and nature, even with a large wedding party happening you don't feel crowded. They do require a mask when you are indoors, in the gift shop or getting your ticket. Most people didn't have masks outside but we all played nice and kept our distance.

If you are in the Orlando area, or living in Florida wanting something to do check this place out. Tickets are only $10 a person which is what we have been doing every visit. However, now that it's become such a regular thing for us we will definitely be getting passes.

You never know Hoo or what might be waiting for you, every visit is different.

Have you checked out Leu Gardens yet? Where else should we visit that is outdoors and safe to visit during Covid?
