A little rant..
Not to scare you with that picture but I am a little ticked off at the moment hehe.
I went into a beauty supply store today buying some things that I needed for my kit. Just basic items, after being asked 5 times if I needed anything by the same lady I said sure can you tell me where "such and such items would be" she said "Never heard of it,we don't carry it" then walks away. She never comes back to check on me or ask me how I am doing. I am getting a vibe from her but I am just trying to shop,and I love to browse so I was in there for 15minutes.
I get up to the register and ask her about the professional discount card, and ask her what I need to bring in to get the card. She tells me a cosmetology license, and I state I am not a hairstylist just a makeup artist. She laughs and says "Aren't we all makeup artist,HONEY".
She never answered my question,she walked away from the register to help someone else with hair extensions. I had my basket unloaded on the counter already when she walked away. I would never do this normally because I have worked retail before, but I left it and walked out.
Her smirk and the laugh was trying me, she wanted to see if I was going to come across that counter or not heheh.
So I left without my goodies from there, and I won't go back to that particular store. I just placed my order online from another company that gives me a nice pro discount.Plus I got free shipping,and no attitude :)

ReplyDelete...very odd but for some reason I get alot of attitudes like that lately you should call corporate of that store and report her ha ha that would be so funny...wonder why she treated you that way. Just I could never make a snide comment to someone so I just don't get how people can make a snide comment to anyone especially regarding your profession wtf

seriously so weird that i came home and i read this because i was in my sephora today and just because i'm younger all the women just walk by me and pay me no mind... funny because i go in with the intention to buy allooooot of things and not there just to play with makeup as they assume... i actually have to track down employees to ask for help or a basket! and then they talk down to me like if i have no idea what i'm talking about regarding makeup and brands etc! ugh!

ummmm BEEOTCH MUCH? JEEZ! people need to get some fricken manners. if she hates her job so much she needs to quit. You should make a complaint to them because that's silly. what a jerk. good for you for walking out!!!

ReplyDeleteI got an email from their customer service department that THEY would call my local store and tell them to give me the card.
ReplyDeleteI go to the local store,LADY from previous post was working again today. I go in ask to apply,tell her the situation and she says Noones called you don't qualify!
Long story short after 30minutes on hold with customer service,I got the card,but not before her and her 2 managers went into their office to
MOCK ME and make jokes about me.
I said managers because they were the store manager and district manager and they were laughing and making fun of me. I called customer service and it was 30min and nooone picked up so I sent another email ...
I guess we will see in time.
