Elf Makeup Remover Wipes $3.00 for 20

MAC Makeup Remover Wipes $18.00 for 45

Pampers Sensitive Thick Baby Wipes $2.29 for 60

Johnson's Hand & Face Wipes 25 for $2.69

Okay you get the idea there are A LOT of makeup removing wipes or options for makeup removal out there. As a makeup artist I usually have several different options for my clients. I find that in the beauty industry theres a lot to be said about putting up a facade with clients. They would use mud if it was wrapped in MAC or Makeup Forever packaging. I usually take 2 or 3 different options just in case they are needed. These are not the only ones I use,or that I have used they are just the most recent rotation. Everyone loves the Neutrogena wipes, I have 2 different Olay wipes for my personal use right now too heh.The really expensive ones are only bought on occasion because personally MAC is expensive enough and they work great.

1. ELF Makeup Remover Wipes- I had been hearing mixed reviews on these so I decided to just go ahead and buy them. They are actually pretty amazing, they are very wet and they take off my liquid liner with one wipe. I got a couple when ELF had their studio half off so I paid $1.50 a pack. I do take these in my kit, and I also have a stash for my personal use as well.

2.MAC makeup remover wipes- These are amazing, and I use them in my kit. Like I said when I go do someones makeup they are asking 100 questions and they have demands and sometimes they are VERY particular.  They like to see MAC and if it makes them happy that is what we are going for. I bought mine at the CCO for $14.00.

3.Pampers Sensitive Thick Wipes- I cannot say how much I love these wipes. They are thick so you can really get all your makeup off and they don't rip. They are moist and they really take everything off with one wipe. I use these in my kit for photo shoots where there may be multiple looks. They are for sensitive skin and they don't break me out which almost everything breaks me out heh. A little hint I printed off coupons from the internet for $1.00 off which made 60 wipes a little more than a dollar.

4.Johnson's Hand and Face Wipes- These are great for makeup artists, and those who love to play makeup. I don't use these on clients or myself as makeup remover wipes. I use them for my hands, brushes, I use them like you would a wet wipe. They contain no alcohol but they get rid of germs.I clean the handles of my brushes,my brush belt,if I sit something down between uses I will leave the pack open and just take another wipe out (anything that you want to get germs off of). I also have wet wipes but these make the skin so so soft. They aren't harsh and you can get these for around a dollar with coupons too. I have a pack in my makeup station at home where I wipe up powder, spills, wipe off my hands, when I am done and just toss away. They do have a bit of a smell but I enjoy it it's not overwhelming.

I hope these give you some idea's for more affordable makeup remover wipes. I use so many and I know there are blogs and YT channels out there who can tell you 10 other products that are way more expensive. What do you use, and have you used these?

If you have any questions on how I use them or where I got them, or just any questions at all PLEASE ask!

  5. The ELF wipes worked well for me, I had seen a lot of mixed reviews but they take off all my eye makeup.

I don't know if I have used that specific Target brand of wipes but I use to use Target wipes in a blue package and they were good.
