Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Booster

$56 at Ulta and Ulta.com (please ignore the sad little box it got lost in my backpack for school)

Super-saturated hydration for the driest skin conditions, this intensive hydrating fluid revitalizes parched skin. Hydrates, smoothes and minimizes fine lines with a concentrated blend of Hyaluronic Acid, Panthenol, Glycolipids and Algae Extract to restore moisture balance. Contains no artificial fragrance or color. Professional recommendation advised.

How it works:
  • Hyaluronic Acid holds up to 1000 times its weight in water for hydration and improved elasticity.
  • Panthenol aids in tissue repair while hydrating the skin.
  • Algae Extract helps restore moisture balance.

When I got this in the mail from Ifabbo, I thought without trying it out that its so thin I couldn't expect much. I honestly couldn't see how it could work like I had heard it worked. Recently I have been experiencing breakouts (again) and using stuff to stock the breakouts has caused my skin to dry up. So when started using this I, like I said wasn't expecting to notice a difference. I love Dermalogica and everything I have tried from samples to buying I have loved. This formula is just like water, and you have to be careful when applying it will roll right your hands. I have started mixing it with my night time face cream, so I don't lose any of it. The night time cream I am talking about is not one I am reviewing or something new I am trying out it is just one I have used for the past year and honestly trying to use up. So I know how my skin reacts to it which is not at all, so I thought adding this booster to it might help.

It has just been a few weeks after receiving this and I have mixed reviews. I have oily combination skin normally, it just currently happens to be dry. I am not sure if you have chronic dry skin or you are more on the dry side that it will help you like it has helped me. Again, because my skin is naturally on the oily side this may have worked with the serum to help my dry skin heal right up. However, it did work great for me, and my dry patches are gone.My skin feels great, and it is very smooth.

I think if you have oily to combo skin, and don't have sensitive skin this will work for you. Because it does make your skin a lot more moisturized. I am very sensitive with skincare products and thinking about acne gives me acne hehe. I hope this review helped you!

Have you tried this before? What was your thoughts?
