Supergoop! Sunscreen Oil 5oz $26 or 1oz for $10 at Sephora and Sephora.com

What they say:
This lightweight, non-greasy formula provides superior antioxidant protection, diminishes signs of UV damage, and enhances skin hydration while providing broad spectrum SPF 50 protection. Formulated with reinforcing meadowfoam seed oil, potent tocotrienols, and nourishing argan oil, it leaves skin feeling smooth, supple, and protected. A natural essential oil blend of pomegranate, citrus, and calendula provides a subtle sensorial experience.

What I say:
I wasn't sure how I was going to feel about putting a sunscreen oil on. I have always used lotions and never really considered an oil to be convenient. However, since getting this product it has made it so easy to just apply sunscreen and go. I don't have to worry if I have white patches of product that didn't get rubbed in. It has a subtle scent, rubs in completely without being oily. I use this on my arms pretty much everyday. You think about how much sun you get while just sitting in your car, that is where the sun spots come from mostly on your left side. I apply to my arms, hands, neck chest anything thats going to be exposed. I used a different facial SPF and all my makeup contains SPF already. I have no complaints about this product, it is so easy and quick. I can spray my arms right before I walk out the door, I can rub it in and it just disappears and my hand do not have that oily residue it just absorbs into my skin.

I am a strong believer in sunscreen but I have made the switch in the past few years to the natural non toxic kinds. Your skin is the biggest organ, and if you are putting chemicals on your skin and essentially just cooking your skin, bad things are bound to happen.

Whether or not you are into natural SPF or not, this is an amazing product and it has worked great for me.

  1. This is a very interesting product! I'll admit that I'm a little skeptical of sunscreen oil, but this sounds like a nice way to apply sunscreen. ~Jessica
