What does beauty mean to me? Being yourself, being happy, and just being comfortable in your own skin. If you can't tell even as a child I was a "ham" I would eat up any attention I could get! I loved to dress up, and paint on my face. I have always loved Dolly Parton, so if teasing my hair got me closer to being her I did it.

As I have gotten older (and wiser hehe) I have came into my own, and really just not cared about looking a certain way. Makeup has given me the opportunity to give that to other people. A little concealer, the perfect brow, can make someone feel like a million bucks. I know for me when I have my favorite shade of lipstick on I feel pretty darn good.  It isn't about looking like Kim Kardashian, it is about enhancing your favorite features, making your eyes pop, your hair stand out. I wear pink lipstick with a smoky eye, because that's ME. You can wear the most natural look you want, as long as you feel good and it makes you happy. Beauty is about loving yourself with or without makeup. I like to live on the edge, in life and with my makeup hehe.

No one was surprised when I started doing makeup for a living.The blog was the next natural progression and YouTube. I want to share my love for beauty with everyone.I wanted to let people know that you can be yourself, love makeup,be goofy,have pink hair,wear weird glasses and be just as beautiful as the next girl. If you have read my blog at all or have ever spoken to me EVER you probably already know how much I adore Carrie. She just seems like the most genuine person. So when I heard she was the new spokeswoman for Almay, I got really interested!
