Bath and Body Works Candle Dupes at Wal-Mart
I know this isn't beauty related but I am pretty basic and I love me some candles from Bath and Body works. However, it is hard for me to convince the hubby that at $22.50 they are a good investment. He barely believes that I need 100 shades of shadow hehe. I knew when I found these at Wal-Mart I had to share with you. If you are like me when I can find a bargain I get excited and want to share it with everyone. So I came home and started burning one, for review sake of course heh.
These candles from 719 Walnut Avenue are $4.93 each, are 3 wicked and come with a cute little lid. They smell amazing,and although I just bought them I have already been burning my Mahogany Driftwood and the scent lingers all over the house.The hubby came home and I had to share my find with him, he said "Why didn't you get more" and I realized why I married him, he is my enabler heheh. I didn't pick up all the scents, they still had some summer scents available as well. I know they had Autumn Leaves,Macintosh Apple,Pumpkin Latte and a few more.

well now I'm irritated! I was at walmart this morning for candles (well actually it was for something else but I love the Better Homes and Gardens tarts) and I didn't see these. I need to find them asap!! But, thanks for sharing lol...
ReplyDeleteCheck where the cleaners are and room sprays like Glad and Airwick that's where these candles were. Nowhere near the Home candles,like the Better Homes and Garden!

DeleteHow do they burn? The Bath and Body Works ones burn so well. They are very even and burn all the wax do these do the same? I too just got home from walmart and looked by the other candles and got sad I couldn't find them now I have to go back tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteThey burn clean and even, I went back today to a different Wal Mart and bought 2 new ones eheh. Even the hubby likes the smell and how they smell up the whole house!

ReplyDeleteThese candles are GREAT! I agree, they are comparable to BB&B. Scent lasts just as long IF not longer. They are cleaner burning AND they burn down to the bottom apprx. 1/2 inch. Good choice and you cant beat the price!
ReplyDeleteI've bought 3 of these so far...Caramel Cinnamon Swirl, Autumn Walk & Pumpkin Waffles and they smell amazing. They have a very clean burn and the entire house is fragranced!! 3 large 3-wick candles for only $15 is an amazing deal, I will definitely be looking for the winter & Christmas scents!!

ReplyDeleteI have bought two so far, the pumpkin waffles and autumn walk. They both smell sooooo good! I haven't burned autumn walk yet, but pumpkin waffles burns great and has a great throw. It might not be the strongest ever; I've never bought a B&BW pumpkin pecan waffles to compare, so I don't know for sure, but it smells amazing.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to keep an eye out for campfire treat because I LOVE marshmallow fireside, it's one of my favorite scents ever. If I find a $5 dupe of it I'll probably buy all that they have!!!
Well, I'm so sad! My Walmart (nor any of them in the area of Tyler, Texas carry these. I went on line to order and the only ones available were the Driftwood and the Pumpkin. To top it off, I couldn't order and then pick up at the stores. They said store pick up wasn't available on them. Marshmallow Fireside is my all time favorite candle.
