The Beauty Council does the VMA's-Julianne Hough

The Beauty Council is a group of amazing beauty & lifestyle bloggers, who have joined forces to bring our blog readers new and exciting blog posts. You can expect The Beauty Council blog posts to be showing up twice a month. We hope to bring you a refreshing variety of posts from tutorials to our must have products. For our first post and we chose to pick a look to replicate from the 2014 VMA Award's.

I chose Julianne Hough she is still in her twenties which I am not, but I loved her bronze glow, and orange lip. Hope you enjoy the post, and check out the other amazing bloggers in The Beauty Council! I am excited to see all of their great looks and which celebrity they chose!

Julianne Hough's look to me was a smoky navy,silver eye with emphasis on the bronze cheeks,and orange lips. So if your curious how I got this Julianne Hough look, keep reading! I started with the Pixi Redness Reducing Primer all over my face. I then take the Pixi Crayon Combo in Super Smoky which is in black and gunmetal gray. I used the gunmetal gray all over my lid to the crease and smudged it out.
I then took the gunmetal gray/silver in the Pixi Silver Sky palette all over the lid and into the crease. In my outer V and my lower lash I used the Navy shadow in the palette. Taking a liner brush and bringing that navy all under my lower lash line.I then used the Pacifica Golden Lotus on the brow bone very lightly.

For my face I used my old faithful Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation as a foundation and concealer, used my Hard Candy trio in 3 strikes to bronze the face a little. The Hard Candy blush in Skinny Dipping on the apples of my cheeks with Pacifica Golden Lotus as a highlighter.

Then L.A. Girl lip glaze in Hot Mess to finish off the look. I did use the Maybelline define a brow in light brown it broke off when I was finishing up my last brow and I tossed it (forgot to take a picture). Feel free to use your favorite brow product to finish off the look!

Who's look did you enjoy from the 2014 VMA Awards? It was hard to choose for me, but I thought Julianne Hough rocked her navy dress,and smoky eye.
