I have a friend who sells Avon and wanted to send a few of their products to me. So I immediately said yes, because I use to get Avon all the time. I have to say I am impressed with everything I have tried. I was also impressed when I was going to the website to link to the products on how affordable they are.

The lipsticks are obviously my favorite, the colors but the formulas are so smooth and pigmented. The glimmerstick eye liner is amazing, it goes on like a liquid but it is a pencil. It is so black, and lasts on my poor little allergy eyes.  The shadow in midnight sparkler, is shown without a primer and one coat from pan to the back of my hand. It looks like a normal shadow in the pan but you can see the dimension once swatched. It is a blue, black with shimmer and a fun look with just one shadow.

I am so pleased with everything, and I am already looking through her website at all the new stuff. Have you tried anything from AVON? Do you have any recommendations?

    I haven't tried Avon in years! I definitely want to try their Glimmersticks out now. I'm such a sucker for eyeliner!

    Those lipsticks are probably the most gorgeous pinks I've seen lately!! And SO "Heather" too!! I need to try that mascara. I love fat bristly brushes like that!

    I think I'm the only person l know who hasn't tried Avon yet but I've heard so many amazing things about them. The lipsticks are very pretty.

    I've used a lot of products from Avon but I don't think I have ever bought the lipsticks. Bitten is a pretty color.

    I used to have an Avon friend too but once she moved I never bought again. I know that their eyeliners get raves and I can see why from your swatch.

    I will sometimes get stuff from their outlet page. I love their Rapid Dry nail polish (the other stuff takes a LONG time to dry, though) and some of their eyeliners and lipsticks. I think I'm allergic to something in their eyeshadows, though.

    I used to sell Avon back in my mid 20s... and I have watched them grow and improve over the years. Fun tidbit... do you know that for many years Avon was the #1 seller of Lipsticks Worldwide? I always thought that was fun to share with my customers.
