Natural Smokey Eye for Date Night -Client Makeup
My client doesn't wear makeup, and wanted something natural but a little fun (hence the false lashes). She was having a date night with her boyfriend so I tried to keep it glowing and youthful. The eye look is also a bridal eye that I do for clients who don't like makeup or don't wear a lot of makeup.
The before photo was taken indoors when I started the makeup, and the
after were taken in natural sun(a little too bright) but I wanted to
still share her look.
The Eyes:The Balm Nude Tude Palette
1.Sultry all in the crease blended out
2.Sexy in the crease and on a pencil brush under the lower lash
3.Stand-offish on a wet brush all over the lid
Cheeks:Gorgeous Cosmetics Everyday Blush Palette
1. Nars Laguna Bronzer lightly bronzing her cheeks, forehead, chin
2.Mixed 2 soft matte pink and peach shades to get the perfect flush of color
Eyebrows Guerlain Brow Kit
1.Using the brush provided taking the darkest shade and filling in her brows after combing through them with the spooley brush.(LOVE this powder)
Lips
1.Lined with Ofra Lip Liner in Nude
2.Took the Lorac Pro Matte Lip also in Nude all over the lips
3.Tarte Matte Lip Surgence in Bare again all over the lips
(all of these items are matte, but still gave a glow and with the lighting looks more like a gloss)
Face:
1.Laura Mercier Radiant Bronze Primer used on the areas where I will contour/bronze the skin.
2.Becca Backlight Primer everywhere else (just not where I put the Laura Mercier). I will have a full review on this next week, but if you are considering it BUY IT!
3.Guerlain Precious Light Illuminator was used under the eyes, and on all high points of the face to highlight(also another winner, full review coming soon).
4.On the nose, forehead, cupids bow and cheeks I followed up with Becca Powdered Opal
5.Set everything with Skindinavia Setting SpraY (old bottle with the new formula )
Notes:
1.I used all It Cosmetics brushes & Beauty Blender to apply products
2.I used Eylure Naturalites Super Full false lashes, I wasn't a fan of them and neither was she, even after trimming them. They felt really cheap, unlike all other Eylure lashes I have used.
3.Her foundation was a mix of 3 kinds to get the shade right so they were not included.
4.She has smaller eye lid space, so I had her open her eye so I could raise her crease a little.A little drama but nothing over the top!
