The first few times I tried this BB Water foundation I was just trying to figure out the best way to apply it. The beauty blender does not work all it does was absorb the product. I actually found that putting a drop on the back of my hand and applying to the skin with my fingers worked the best. Once I added a second layer, I could use a flat top to buff it into areas that needed more coverage.

This is going to be more of a tinted moisturizer, or beauty balm coverage. I was able to build it up for a little more coverage but it was still a light/medium coverage. However, it made my skin feel and look so healthy and glowing. I have dry patches, and an oily t-zone and it still looked good. It felt like you were putting a moisturizer on your face, once the product was on. If you prefer a lighter coverage,and a product that is like a second skin you will fall in love with Smashbox BB Water.

I can't give this concealer enough praise, it works so great. I have been using it for my under eyes, and inner tear duct. I have darkness under my eyes,and inner tear duct area. So adding this concealer and having immediate results has been wonderful. It doesn't settle into my wrinkles,nor does it crease. I have also been putting this on the back of my hand and using a small concealer brush and tapping it onto breakouts. I then use my ring finger and patting the concealer over any blemishes. This concealer makes the BB Water Foundation work better for me because it helps hide things so I am able to wear a light weight foundation.
It is also waterproof,smudge proof, so I have used it on my lid as a primer to even out any discoloration. I am almost ready to buy another one because it has been a go to for me!

    The texture of the BB Water looks fantastic! I am a huge fan of tinted moisturizers– so this looks like a foundation for me! Your description of the concealer really makes me want it!

      It's a weird complaint but if I forget to conceal or add a light shadow you can tell my eyes look sunken in :)

    Could you mix the BB water with moisturizer like with Cover FX Drops? It looks so watery. But the concealer sounds great!

      Amber said that she mixes her with the Cover FX drops and LOVES it that way. It is very watery, so even adding a little moisturizer with it will help it go on. I just use my fingers heheh

    I was wondering what the BB WAter was like but I see it's similar to the Studio Skin 15 Hour Foundation I have. The concealer really interests me since I'm always looking for a new one.

    The concealer sounds so lovely! While I love watery foundations, light/medium coverage won't do my face any favours right now because of acne :(
