New L'oreal Shadows are they MUF dupes?

New L'oreal Shadows are they MUF dupes?

L'oreal Colour Riche Single Shadows are $4.99-$5.99 depending upon the retailer. There are a total of 15 new shades and I bought 8 of them!

After picking up a few shades I immediately noticed how much they reminded me of my favorite MUF palettes. They are both made with a gel infused technology which explains why they are like butter. My comparison was for how long they wore, how well the color payoff was, and if I had a shade that could ultimately give you the same look. I am in no way saying the shades are exact dupes, but I chose the shades that were close enough to give you an idea.

The L obviously is for the L'oreal shadow's and MUF is the Makeup Forever shadow!

These shadows blew me away, I couldn't believe how beautiful they were. Now, I do suggest that you apply these shadows with a flat brush and pack it on the lid. You can also apply with your finger to get the best finish. Because of them being so buttery soft, you do get some fallout.

I am not saying that these are better than my beloved MUF shadows. However, I am saying that if you want affordable shadows that perform and will last, you definitely should buy these. All of the eight shades had amazing color payoff on one swatch without a primer (as shown in swatches). I have worn Pain Au Chocolat 3 times and it is a must have!

Be sure to check when these are on B1G1 sales at the drugstore. I bought mine at Walgreen's and the beauty counter clerk gave me $1 off coupon for every L'oreal Shadow I bought, plus the B1G1 half sale. Ulta also offers the $3.50 off 10 on drugstore products and B1G1 sales. They are worth the full price, you will not be disappointed but I love a good deal too!

What do you think? Will you be trying any of these out?

  2. These are gorgeous! I purchased three of them and I need more! The color pay off is amazing for the price and the formula really left me really impressed! The only down size that I saw was that you have to be really careful with the packaging because I opened one of mine and the entire eyeshadow fell out all over my floor and it was actually hard to remove, ha! Otherwise, these colors are a total win!!! Great dupes for MUF! I completely agree with you on that!

  3. Great post! I'd say they are close enough to MUFE to qualify as almost dupes. And the shades you chose are stunning! I haven't tried any L'Oreal eyeshadows, but I certainly should based on your swatches! Thank you for introducing me

    1. I don't have every MUF shadow so I am sure there are some better shade dupes. However, the formula is so close!

    1. I only have 3 MUF new palettes so I am sure there are better color dupes out there. The formula is the same for the price!
