one swatch, no primer or base (prophet is the pigment that is included)
 Bloodmilk,Medusa,Ankh,Queen
 Hieroglyph,Nile,Scarab,Venom
On my lid is Scarab, I blended it into the crease with a fluffy brush. Then I took my fingertip and patted the same color onto my lid.  Making a little bit more of an impact I smudged it underneath my lash line.

I have had this palette for a few weeks now, and I have seriously been using it every single day. I love bright colors, and this palette provided that for me. I had heard mixed reviews, but being a huge fan of Kat Von D I bought it anyways. I am not sure where any of the bad reviews came from because this palette packs pigmentation in every single shade.

The shimmer shades are very soft and creamy in texture as you can see I shoved my finger in them when I was swatching. I wasn't expecting them to give me a lot of color after reading reviews but they are beautiful. My only complaint is there isn't any transition shades, it's hard to create a complete eye look out of this palette. I have been using bloodmilk and queen together but those are the only 2 that I have enjoyed using together. There still isn't a highlight shade, that would make this palette a 10 out of 10. Otherwise, I have nothing but rave reviews with this palette and its performance.

  2. I love that dramatic look on you, Heather! I think Scarab is a knockout shade! Although the colors are bright, I think it looks like a very wearable palette, and it's different from lots of other palettes out there. Beautiful!

  5. Looks like a beautiful palette, and I love KVD makeup, but I can't see me wearing these colors. I feel my skin might be too dark for it

  7. This is such a perfect palette for you. It's easy to find transition colors in another palette but it's not easy to find brights like this.
