I have had the hardest time finding a dry dog food that both dogs will eat. The smallest dog, is the pickiest eater and it's an expensive thing to keep purchasing for them to never eat it. So when Chewy.com offered to send over a bag of this new dry dog food from Cesar I was more than happy to test it out. I loved that the first ingredient was real Beef and that is has vegetables in it.
As you can see the pieces are small, and perfect for my chihuahua's. They finished this bag in a normal amount of time, and none of it was wasted. I had honestly expected it to be another bag donated to friends and family. At first they were picking out the vegetable pieces and leaving the beef which we found funny because my husband and I are vegans and appreciated the gesture.
However, they were basically setting the vegetables aside to get to the beef. We already plan on repurchasing after they are done testing out another brand which is also from Chewy.com! If you have small dogs, give this food a try because my picky eater loved it.
We were a bit nervous to introduce wet food into their diet, that wasn't their normal brand. They took right to this, and anytime we go to pick up a little pouch of it, they come running. We have actually repurchased these in many flavors for them because they loved it that much. They do prefer the flavors that are shown, and we have just stuck with them. I like the individual pouches, nothing goes to waste, and we can open up 1 at a time if the bigger dog wants more she can have it.
