It's that time of year again when I go from having oily skin, to having very dry skin. Same goes for my lips, they dry out so bad because of all of this wind and cold weather. I also have issues with the dry heat from turning the thermostat up to warm the house. I will wake up with cracked lips, from a night of licking my lips to keep them moist. Now, I can just grab this out of my night stand apply generously and never worry about this again.

However, I also remember the many years of living in South Florida and having dry chapped lips after days at the beach. I truly wish I had a product like this back then it would have changed everything for me and saved me a lot of time and money looking for the right product.

I know you read the title of this blog post and thought Herpecin L isn't that a herpes aka cold sore medicine. Yes, it truly is but it does so much more and all those other things it does is why I use it on a daily basis.  The price of Herpecin L is less than $5 a tube, and I think most of us would pay way more to get rid of a cold sore or even just stubborn chapped lips.

Not only does the cold weather give us chapped lips but the weather can also trigger a cold sore breakout. An abrupt change in the weather can cause you to get those fever blisters and cold sores.

Ingredients: Dimethicone 1% (skin protectant), Methyl Anthranilate 5% (sunscreen), Octyl Methoxycinnamate 7.5% (sunscreen), Octyl Salicylate 5% (sunscreen), Oxybenzone 6% (sunscreen), Helianthus Annuus Oil (hybrid sunflower), Petrolatum, Ozokerite, Mineral Oil, Microcrystalline Wax, Talc, Titanium Dioxide, Beeswax, Melissa Officinalis Extract (balm mint), Cetyl Lactate, Glyceryl Laurate, Flavor, Lysine HCI, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Tocopherol, Pyridoxine HCl, Panthenol, BHT

It's nothing to be ashamed about a lot of people get cold sores every year, we need to get rid of the stigma.
Did you know?
Oral herpes is a common infection of the mouth area that is caused by herpes simplex virus type
1 (HSV-1). Fifty to eighty-percent of U.S. adults have oral herpes. According to the National
Institutes of Health, about 90 percent of adults have been exposed to the virus by age 50.
